Real nice, simple system PK. Jeff's sub integration question is understandable, as the planar-panel/cone-woofer coupling is notoriously difficult to do well. Understandable also as Rythmik subs are still relatively unknown, undeservedly so. They are in fact one of the two best subs to use with planars, IMO, the other being the collaboration between Rythmik's Brian Ding and GR Research's Danny Richie.
Brian and Danny have designed and sell a DIY OB/Dipole sub kit with opposing 12" woofers for use in an H-Frame, very much like the sub that Gradient made in the 80's for the Quad 63 loudspeaker, but with Rythmik's Servo-Feedback amplifier powering the woofers. Danny has a professional cabinet maker who offers flat pack H-Frames which are fairly easily assembled, and that can then be painted or veneered. Both subs are outrageously good (and especially well-suited for use with planar speakers), and bargain-priced ta boot.
