So I m a new bee. I haven't been in to this hobby for very long really. My first purchase of proper HiFi that i have was in December 2005 with the Arcam Alpha 10 Amp. Which i am very happy with.
In the 7 months of having the amp Ive enjoyed buying my Monitor Audio RS1s, Atacama Nexus 5 Stands and iChord Interconnect to go in to my computer.
At the age of 19 there is plenty of time for improvement and Im planning on upgrading for the rest of my life. You just have to.
My next purchase will be the Cambridge Audio D300 from my friend who i got the Arcam from. All Ill need then is a few 'accessories' and then i can to finally listen to a CD with my system new lovely HiFi system
Man i love this thing. Bought from a good friend after listening to it a lot at his place. As soon as he told me it was up for sale i just had to have it. Great looking, working and well made bit of equipment. And it was a bargain too. Very happy purchase
Monitor Audio RS1
My initial thought was to get the B&W DM602s but after getting recommended the MA RS1's i couldn't resist them They are much better looking, smaller and just as good sounding. The quality of manufacture is amazing and every detail is spot on. One of my favourite purchases
Atacama Nexus 5 Speaker Stands
The award winning Nexus range is great for such a low price. The complete stand is manufactured from heavy gauge steel and the assembly is made using upgraded high tensile fixings to maintain optimum rigidity. Very happy with these stands. And they looks great too
iChord Interconnect
3.5mm minijack to 2 RCA 1.0M
Audio Innovations
These came free with the Amp, as did the Banana Plugs. Love them
