Description

I have a few other elements in this system, but none of them add to the sound. You know, cables and power conditioners mostly. I would like to upgrade to seperate amplification and processing units.

Really, I've gotten the taste and can't wait to build a room around a set of full range speakers with a great turntable and amplification. For now, I'm on the hunt for a Rega P3 and a better processor.

Hope you like it and love your own audio.

NEWS: Added a Reag Ear Headphone amplifier directly out from the CD player and a set of Sennheiser HD_595...and there's no tunring back now!

System edited: Added a PS3 and Yamaha RX-V1700. HDMI connections running 1080p to the TV. Bi-amping/Bi-wiring the front speakers has improved their acoustic performance by a noticeable margin. I'm sure the improved transport and HDMI interface has also contributed. Blu Ray is stunning, and DVD is amazing. DVD-A and SACD sound wonderful, and redbook sounds great too.

System edited: System Edited: Sony KDS60A2000 and HD terminal added. Will be getting a Blu Ray player and Yamaha RX-V1700 in the coming weeks. Amazingly, the room sounds better with the speakers 8" closer to the back wall and a different TV in the center.

Tiggerpooh, I have lots of good to say about Onkyo. I haven't had a problem with any onkyo piece that I've purchased and neither has anyone that I have re-sold items too. As for your comment on Klipsch and 'goodness,' I say, each to their own, and what do you know really...I think that the work that was done by Dr. Klipsch and others showed the sonic properties of horn loaded drivers, and his mathematical formulas are still used in a proprietary process by Klipsch today.

Speedball, I do enjoy the sound of these speakers. Especially, the highs. I'm trying to clean the whole thing up by adding an audio rack (top quality wood and granite) and changing to a sleek, modern, HDTV with a lower stand less clutter. The new HP 58" 1080p or something like a Sony LCD.

Blazemaster, I've heard the new Klipsch speaker that replaced the RF-35, and that is all. I didn't have time to enjoy the subtle differences and can't comment on any acoustic differences. Althought I can say that they did look great. You have an amazing setup. Home theatre must be an enjoyable experience!
