Description

My audio system has become detrimental to my health, as all I want to do is sit on my rear end and listen to music the whole day through.  My audio system is relatively simple compared to others, but it doesn't sound simplified.  My listening room isn't that large, but is just large enough to allow for my speakers to open up oh so beautifully in the room.  The extremely powerful and absolutely superb sounding Hegel H590 integrated amp does an excellent job of driving and maintaining vise-grip like control over the Salon 2s bass drivers.  I believe that the Hegel H590 (H600) is one of the greatest values in high-end audio simply because it makes you not miss having separates.  The Ayre Acoustics streaming DAC was so impressive to me that I saw no need to spend more on a DAC.  The assortment of different bands of cables that I've assembled in my system sounds just superb.  I'm extremely please with how this cozy little extremely high-performance audio system that I put together turned out, as it's capable of transporting me to another musical dimension.  Happy Listening.

@ mitchellman  Over the years, I've done extensive experimentation with plugging my amps directly into the wall, or, directly into a power conditioner.  Long story short---I always plug my amps directly into a power conditioners.  You just have to make sure you're plugging your amp directly into the right power conditioner.  Happy listening.
