Description

This is my first attempt at a 2-channel system. As you can see, the B&W 803Ds, which I am in love with. I picked up the REL B2 at a great price so I added that, which helps for certain types of music. Wondering if I should use a B&W ASW825 instead??

I used to have a Classe CP-500, but purchased the SSP-800 for future theater use. The sound is a bit less warm, but can easily be accommodated for with the SSP-800s EQ. I purchased the last 2 RB-1090s from a local retailer (silver and black) to make the 803Ds move. They do a fantastic job.

For power, I use a Monster AVS 2000 and a Rotel RLC-1040. All but the speakers are Straight Wire Serenade interconnects. The speaker wires are some of the high end Monster stuff. I don't hear a difference between these and the Straight Wire speaker cable, so I took the free ones instead. As of right now, the main source is a Sonos ZP80, and after the recent update, the Rhapsody streams sound much better. I have a Sony 9100ES player for SACD, but that is for later. Let me know what you think or what I can do to improve this.

Well I think it's very nice indeed. My only comment is that I wonder if you are sitting too close (judging from the main view). Nearfield listening can be very nice, but I bet those speakers can throw a huge soundstage, which can only be appreciated farther back.
