Toro3, Yes sir. IKEA lack coffee tables! My original also incorporated a side table. So on the second level I had a lack side table on the left side. Then the third coffee table had long legs on the right side and short legs on the left side. Looked nice but was a little taller than I wanted.
Yes the wife does approve. Not that she really has a choice as this was our dinning room! When our youngest moved out I told her I was going to build a real stereo system. She said where I said in here. It was a bumpy road as I transformed the room. Once I got things about half way she started seeing it. After nothing but compliments from other visitors she has decided it's pretty cool!
