I’ve been working on it for over 50 years and now I’m getting close.

I have only had this setup for a few months and I’m truly enjoying it. As like us all,  it’s a work in progress.😁

Definitely.  With the KEF’s, I could never play them loudish.  I was having issues with my ears hurting when playing sax, electric guitars or female vocals (ie Joni Mitchell) and I wasn’t playing above 80db!  With the SF’s, I can play things a lot louder without my ears bothering me.

So there’s a 15’x15’ bonus room in the basement, and that was the original music room. The carpet was added because we have a couple of dogs that love to play and when they get going, they’d fishtail around corners and slide into things and either hurt themselves or knock stuff down in the curio cabinet.  The family room became music room two a couple of years later, so the carpet was a bonus.

This is my first Integrated amp in 50 years. Simple is just what I was going for.

Thanks for the kind words.  The reason I’m not using the carpet spikes is because I have Oak hardwood under the carpet and pad, and the spikes would scratch them or at the very least they would leave divots. When I told the dealer that my speakers weigh 132 pounds each, he said they’d leave marks.
