Audio Research D-79

Audio Research D-79 tube amp. Of the 3 series of this amp made this is from the "a" or first series. Considered to be the most warm sounding of the series. Unit sounds great, has had the 12 AX7 tubes replaced. The main output tubes have not been replaced but should have plenty of listening time left in them. The only reason for selling this unit is the purchase of Nagra 845 monoblocks. The gauge lights have also been replaced (standard bulbs, not led) and new RCA outputs have also been wired in. I do not have the factory boxes but I do have the custom made wood crate the unit was shipped to me in from the previous seller. If you know Audio Research you should know what this unit is and how acclaimed it is.
