Audio Research Reference 150SE

An Audio Research Reference 150 SE amplifier in very good condition, silver color.  Sounds and looks fantastic.  If you are looking at this ad, you know that this amp has great reviews and is one of the great amplifiers in the history of ARC.  It has a magical sound that few amplifiers before or after can match.  I have enjoyed this amplifier for about 6 years now.  The only reason that I am selling is because I built a larger listening room that requires slightly more power than this 150 W/channel behemoth can deliver.

I retubed this beauty with ARC tubes about 3 years ago.  The tubes now have only have 813 hours on them!  So you will have about 1200 hour of tube life left before even having to think about retubing.  BTW, using ARC tubes is the only way to go since matching the KT150 tubes is critical to getting the best sound out of the amp.

The front plate has 3 very minor scratches that I have denoted in the photos.  None of them can be seen from three feet away.  Considering that ARC charges about $3k to retube the 150SE, my price is quite reasonable.
