The best way to describe the sound of the Jubilee MC cartridge is it’s detailed and revealing without sounding dry or clinical, and is refined and very natural sounding with wonderful depth to the three dimensional sound stage. Hours Calculation:
This Clearaudio Jubilee MC cartridge was manufactured on March 30th 2022 (see photo of paper work). I purchased it in July of 2022 and it has only been used on the weekends, except for the weeks I travel for business or on vacation. Generally, on Saturday evenings, I listen for about an hour while I sip my scotch before dinner; on Sunday afternoons, I listen for about two hours. So, that’s approximately 12 hours a month, and I’ve owned it for 22 months, so 264 hours. Then subtract my out of town travel which is a minimum of two months out of the year (24 hours), and we’re down to 240 hours. So, to give you the benefit of the doubt, let’s leave it there and just say “less than 240 hours” because even when I’m in town, I don’t listen on weekends when we’re out socializing, etc.

This cartridge was meticulously cared for in a high-end system mounted on a Clearaudio Universal 12" tonearm on a Clearaudio Innovation Wood turntable in a pet-free and smoke-free home.
