Pristine Palmer Audio 2.5 Turntable with Audio Origami PU7 Tonearm Original Owner

Up for sale is an original, designed & made in the United Kingdom, Palmer Audio 2.5 turntable with a famed Audio Origami PU7 tonearm that was made to order in the UK. Both were purchased back in 2018 and have been kept in absolute pristine, flawless physical & working condition with roughly 300-400 hours of total usage by my conservative estimate. The combo shows no signs of wear and tear, was meticulously maintained and was kept in a temperature, humidity & air-born particle controlled listening room throughout the entirety of my ownership - I ran 2 HEPA air-filtration units on average of 12+ hours per day. I've traveled extensively and have spent long periods of time living abroad over the past few years - thus the very light usage for the turntable. With that being said, I kept up with maintenance by lubricating the platter + tonearm mechanism every six months ensuring that they both operate at optimum condition. The platter is silky smooth with no discernible vibrations - tonearm movement is also the smoothest that I've ever experienced in the sub $4K price range.

The famed Palmer 2.5 turntable + Audio Origami tonearm is the EXACT combo reviewed by Michael Fremer & Herb Reichert in the past Stereophile publications. Numerous other professional reviews could also be found online which provide design philosophy as well as detailed specs for the turntable + tonearm. I have owned + auditioned many turntable & tonearm setup under $30k, this Palmer/Audio Origami combo + my Koetsu Urushi cartridges sounded better than all of them in terms of overall performance especially when it comes to bringing out the organic quality & intimacy of the original recordings.(this eventually became my end-game setup) Please feel free to message me if you have additional questions or concerns - I'll do my best to address them properly.

This turntable is the ORIGINAL Palmer 2.5 that was built by Jon Palmer in the UK. The business was sold in 2020 I believe and manufacturing was subsequently outsourced to Acoustic Signature in Germany - they renamed the newer version Palmer 2.5i. The turntable was purchased through Gene Rubin Audio in Southern California (Authorized Dealer) and shipped by Fidelis.(Palmer's US distributor) Rest assured that I have the original shipping crate with many layers of molded foam w/cutout so the possibility of components being damaged in transit is very, very low.
