Metaxas and Sins Tourbillon T-RX Reel to Reel Tape Deck and Stand

I own and operate Bliss Hifi out of the Minneapolis region, and this Metaxas & Sins Tourbillon T-RX reel to reel tape deck is a consignment sale on behalf of one of my clients. This is a single-owner unit and is two years of age. It has since been upgraded to the latest power supply / spec and is otherwise in excellent functioning and cosmetic condition. If you are aware of the performance and presentation of this exceptional unit, you know it is awe-inspiring - a true leader in its class. I have never heard a better analog source.

As these units are custom painted upon order, the owner chose to have it trimmed as close as possible to the Sonorus blue to match a number of reels he owned. The build and finish are exquisite. The stand is an optional accessory retailing around $10K and makes the use of the Tourbillon much easier. The stand is also trimmed with the same blue as the deck.

The Tourbillon can handle just about any speed, including 7.5, 15, and 30 ips. The deck is fully balanced by design with variable and fixed outputs. The fixed outputs bypass the internal electronics allowing you to use an external tape head pre-amp.

This owner of this unit is a good client with the most impressive audio system I have ever heard. He treats his gear immaculately, and nothing but top class stuff has been played on this unit. He has offered to throw in six master tapes of his choosing, but you can select the genres. These tapes are estimated to be worth $350-450 each, for a $2,500-$3,000 total value.

Buyer assumes all shipping costs, and I am happy to extend my business shipping rates. The deck and power supply ships in a secure hardshell flight case. The buyer will have the choice to have the stand custom packed assembled, we can disassemble it and pack it more safely/efficiently.
