This turntable is the current Premium model, and I am the original owner.  I was so impressed by the AF V that I purchased the AF III after only 2 months.  The table works flawlessly and there are no cosmetic flaws. The Air Force V consists of two units: the main unit (including built in motor) and the pump / power supply / air condenser. The Air Force turntables feature unique “air” technologies which include an air bearing that allows the platter to float on a very thin layer of air. This mechanically isolates the rotating platter and the record from any vibration.  Additionally, the vacuum hold-down system is very effective at clamping the LP onto the platter.  The controller allows changing from 33 & 45 rpm speeds with the touch of a button- no need to switch the belt over pulleys of varying size.  The arm board that comes with the table is an SME cutout.  Multiple arms can be mounted on the table and additional arm boards are available from its US distributor The Audio Salon.
PLEASE NOTE- this sale is for the table only.  The table will be shipped in its original shipping box.  The turntable comes with the original setup tools and manual.  Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions.

Questions for the seller
How would you describe the difference between the V and the III? Platter of the III much heavier = better sound?
The audible differences between the two turntables is pretty subtle. The III has somewhat better bass definition and slightly greater transparency compared with the V. I'm not sure the platter weights are that different, but I would have to review their specs. The major technical difference is the in-board motor on the V and the out-board motor on the III.
