Thanks for the feedback. Going from Pontus II to Terminator II is my (end)game plan - and definitely sounds like a > worthwhile upgrade. Now it's just a matter of budgeting for the purchase . . . . . ;o)
IMO the Denafrips T2 is definitely the sweet spot in the lineup. Amazing SQ throughout the spectrum, and it even makes the older poor quality recordings sound much much better than the Pontus II
I also upgraded from the Pontus and the difference was one of the biggest jumps in SQ I have experienced on my journey.
Very nice setup. What's your impression of the Denafrips Terminator II? At ~$2,500 less than the Plus version, I'm thinking this is the absolute sweet spot in the Denafrips line. I currently have the Pontus II (amazing for the $$), but am contemplating a move up. Again, great system - thanks for sharing.
@carzmaguy88 - Wow !! I love your audio system; components and music taste. I could look at this over and over. How do you like the Luxman with the Focals? I'll be switching out my Rotel and would like a solid state and eventually replace my tube amp with a higher quality one.
