Allo Allo from Aotearoa New Zealand. This is my happy place, where the glow of the tubes (and those various pesky LED component lights) bring a little ambience to night time music listening sessions.
I recently upgraded to the Klipsch Cornwall IV from the Forte III. The PrimaLuna has been in the system for a while, with plenty of tube rolling. Currently rocking Tung-Sol KT120s and 12AU7s.
The Wand New Zealand made turntable and arm arriving soon!
UPDATE: 1 October 2022 - added photos of The Wand Turntable and Wand Plus Tonearm.
Very nice! Given the size of the Cornwall’s, I would think it would be easy for them to overwhelm many listening rooms (certainly mine!) but they fit in your room beautifully. Looks like a real relaxing atmosphere to enjoy music. 👍🏻
Thank you @earlflynn its an absolute pleasure to listen to. Roy Delgado certainly worked some magic on the Cornwall speakers, they are truly beautiful.
@jond thank you, and yes it’s a New Zealand made table and arm. I haven’t yet received it, I’ve just purchased. So the table in the photos show my current Project.
I have listened to it extensively however, and it is a beautiful table that I can’t wait to experience - I’ll add photos when it arrives.
It is available internationally through a small dealer network listed on their website in case one is local to you and you ever wish to have a listen. I highly recommend.
@dcpillai currently running Tung-Sol KT120s with some NOS JAN Philips 12AU7s. I tube-roll between the 120s, some Gold Lion KT88s, Psvane EL34s and the original PL 34s. Also have some Tung-Sol 12AU7s and some Telefunkens. The 120s are stunning - better control and depth in the bass with more mid range magic than the 88s :D
A calming and beautiful room. A fellow PL user here :-) In relation to the tubes you are using (love the nighttime pics of the tubes BTW), are they aftermarket? KT88s / KT120s? In any event, welcome on board and enjoy the music!
