For many years, my 2 channel system shared the home theater room.  My beloved wife passed away three years ago, and last year I decided to sell the dining room furniture and convert that space to a dedicated 2 channel listening room.

I read Jim Smith’s Get Better Sound book and tried to apply some of his advice in the new room.  Moving the equipment rack from between the speakers and placing the Pendragons well out into the room yielded a significant improvement in the sound.    I spent a good amount of time tweaking speaker placement in small increments before settling on their current location.

The soundstage has increased in both width and depth, and the system has never sounded better.
