Hi there, I took some of the member's advice here and have added stands for the speakers.
The sound has not improved that much, but my back feels much better now that I don't have to bend over to control the volume.
What has made a significant difference to the sound quality is naming each speaker Martin and Logan. A much bigger soundstage coupled with a much more lively sound. Although, since the name change, I feel my head is much more in a vise like state when listening than in the past?
I should go ahead and respond to your experience with Fritz... he really isn’t up on e-mailing. The best way to get ahold of him is by phone. Call him and if he doesn’t answer, leave a voicemail. Make sure to get his call when he calls you. He’s a bit old school with the tech. When you get him on the phone though, he usually has ample time to talk with you! He’s a wealth of knowledge so it’s best to just ask questions and then sit back and listen.
Actually, I have had this system for over 12 years now. It's my "Remodel System" It's been keeping me bopping the the last 3 home renovations I have done, (if you look close, you'll see the paint!)Originally, maybe $500?
I love your speakers b_limo. I actually contacted Fritz about building me a set of speakers, he called my when I was out in a storm, re-installing my mailbox post as it was rotten. Sai he was going to call mew back the next day and never did? Doesn't answer my emails any more either? Must have upset him or something?
I want to rebuild a system soon, but another remodel to get through first!
Nice setup! You’d get a better soundstage and imaging if you pulled your logitechs out from the wall a bit. Great set up though. You can tell that alot of time, $ and effort was spent in compiling this system.
