My system has been a million things over the years and this is my current set up. I think I’m done for a year or two. I’m happy with this.

Beautiful setup, TT and truly impressive Accuphase gear.  Be careful not to sell it on--you may live to regret that. Ask me how I know!  Regards

Tried your rig on the long wall? Get them out of the corners?

Aniwolf,

Next time I’ll go sockless.

Owner
Jond,

I have been trying different positions and I find that Kharmas over other speakers I’ve owned and tried demand placement precision. I’m really struggling with optimization. Nonetheless, my Kharma speakers blow my mind wherever they they are. I will keep trying to nail it and keep you updated!

You raise a point about which I’ve often though. Thank you for the suggestion. I’m going to try that and met you know how it goes.

Do those socks help with early reflections?

aniwolfe

Jamie it's likely the wide angle shot is making it look further than you are. But certainly fool around with speaker positioning it's a great, and free, way to better sound.

Set up suggestion. If possible don't stack the pre on the power amp. If you can't put the amp on the floor, stack your dac on top of the pre. Nice job on selection of components,

Owner
Jond, that’s a great question. I believe I took that photo with the wide angle lens on my iPhone. My goal was to make an equilateral triangle between myself and the speakers. Otherwise you may be correct that I’m too far away.

jamiek

Nice system and that amp is a P-4500 btw says right on the faceplate. :p May I ask how far away you sit? Might be a trick of the photo but your speakers look very far away.
