Nice system you've got! I'm a big fan of that generation Sony ES gear, I had an ES receiver that was 2ohm rated. I still regret getting rid of it...
Also, do you use any subwoofer(s) with your speakers? Those Merlin's are pretty small, and it looks like a pair of subs are next to the cabinet in the pictures.
