Hi emergingsoul ,thanks for the compliments. I just use the Bluesound as a streamer .I bypass its' dac to the Auralic Vega dac. I agree that the Bluesound by itself is an inferior device in my system but the Auralic Vega raises the SQ level by quite a bit. I subscribe to Qobuz and I am very happy with their music service.Much better SQ than Spotify .
Serious listening chamber. Ceiling tiles impressive mounting skills. Soo much good stuff. Love the arc preamp. Why cheap out with bluesound device? Mine is in a box as I found it’s dac was poor.

It makes a person grateful for the blessings of a fine hobby when looking back at more humble beginnings. My first "stereo" as a teen was a Radio Shack receiver with mismatched, full range naked drivers (10" and 12") removed from stereo consoles and hooked up literally with lamp cord. If you keep at it amazing things can happen, like a dedicated room.

We moved into a new house and I thought I built the perfect room. (I never knew that a square room could be a bad thing!) Initially the room sounded HORRIBLE! Unlistenable.
Yes, the GIK panels were critical to correcting all that was bad with the room.
I was skeptical that a square room with echoes,reflections, flutters and other anomalies could ever be saved.
