I’ve pieced this system together over a few years, starting with the Klipsch floor standers that I got on Black Friday four years ago. I added the Technics SL1610 three years ago from a head shop in Kansas City, and upgraded to the Grado Green cartridge two months ago. Added the Cambridge Audio amplifier and phono preamp two months ago, and got the sub at the same time.
I just bought a Cambridge Audio streamer from another Audiogon user (old 2011/12 Streamer Magic), and am looking to add a reel-to-reel, and a CD transport as soon as I can get a reasonable deal on those.
After the additional formats are added, may try to upgrade to the CXA81 for the additional power, and bring my Polk lsi9’s that are currently my surround channels in the media room to the listening room, as I think the Polks are clearly a superior speaker.
