I have since added an Aries Cerat Impera Signature Pre-Amp, and the Aries Cerat Ianus Essentia power amps, for an all Aries Cerat system - a real joy! (time to update the photos).
The Aries Cerat Stentor is an extremely musical speaker - this is the only pair made by Aries Cerat. As I understand it, the manufacturing cost was too high to make it a production model (its retail price should have been >euro 30,000). It is a sealed box boss design delivering fast bass, with a Raal ribbon tweeter, and a non-horn conventional midrange driver. Of course the genius of Stavros Danos is in the crossover design that delivers a live musical experience - such is the integration between the drivers. Of course the Symphonia horn speaker is at an altogether different level but also at a different price!

My main system in town has some similarities with yours: YBA 1 CD player, Ares Cerat Incito preamp, YBA Signature stereo power amp (the pictures in the link are not pics of *my* system though).
The introduction of an Aries Cerat component in my system (Incito preamp, replaced my YBA 1 preamp) transcended it.
Your speakers seem very special. I wonder why Aries Certa didn't continue to produce this speaker. What about the midrange? Cone used? Is it high sensistivity?
Their Symphonia horn speaker is unbelievable. But not cheap.
