Ha!! No, it’s not a “boat” anchor! It’s been a steady work horse for many years. We’ve seen a lot of equipment come and go but the LM518ia is just incredible - just my opinion.
Regarding your description of the LM 518a as an "anchor"... do mean that in a good way, like it's the anchor to your system... or in a bad way, like it's dead l/ no longer working making it suitable for a boat anchor?
I really like how you integrated this system within the room. LM 518, Leben CS600X, and O/96s have always been on my shortlist. The Leben and DeVore seem like they would be an excellent match. I'm not jealous, but I'm jealous. Classy room and system.
