Great combination, German engineering and Italian craftsmanship! I had a T+A V10 tube integrated amp driving my SF Cremonas which sounded very musical. Your system is in a totally different league and certainly much more dynamic! I recently got the SF Elipsas SE, maybe I should check on the new T+A equipment... Btw have you tried other amps with your Amati's and/or other speakers with your T+A?

so how do you get firewood out of that 14" tall column to the left of the fireplace? Grab a ladder and start at the top? :)

Many Thanks. In fact, the setup effortlessly produces live concert levels. Especially at higher volumes, an electronic room correction is important. Because the room modes are more excited. I use Acourate which also corrects the phase (timing) in addition to the amplitudes.

Very impressive. I'll bet large scale orchestra's sound dynamic and effortless, something my system struggles to replicate. It seems like small entry level systems like mine do better w/ small jazz ensembles.
