Have you tried not using the centre channel and using phantom for av use, that centre looks like it’ll be far too low once the lift is down. I’ve got a large ATCscm300 on the ceiling for my av use, the stereo pair image so well that the system sounds far better with phantom centre, providing of course you are seated in a fairly central position, sitting off axis needs a centre speaker for dialogue to remain in the centre of the image.

I like the SVS subs.I have not tried the big ones yet.I owned the tube types and really liked those. Thanks for your insight.

Earle43, I own the SVS 16PB Ultra and that thing is amazing. It goes so low, that I’m finding monster bass in music I had no clue had that kind of bass. I do listen to a lot of hip hop and combo hip hop/rock. Also when I put in system testing tracks, it hits clean and super accurate. Plus it can be controlled by a user friendly ap. That’s a really nice touch!

Thank you.The JL Audio sub is great,I really like it more than any sub I have owned. I do not know how it compares to the SVS.I have not owned that model or heard it but I bet it is an awesome sub too.

Very nice setup. Can’t wait to see your improvements not that you need any. How is the JL Audio sub? I’ve been eyeing that model and the Svs SB16 ultra?
