Description

Changed from audiolab to mark levinson electronics which was an awesome system performance upgrade.Changed from kimber kables to nordost mono filament,my next upgrade will be to valhalla mains cable to have a coherent cabling loom.speakers are b&w cdm7se which do quite a good job despite having over 20,000 worth of system driving them....but will probably replace with 802d's once i have changed the rack to either finite elemente or grand prix audio. This is definetely a front end first system at the moment!

System edited: I have upgraded to revel studios a couple of months back and I am extremely pleased with the results. I have just downgraded but upgraded to a full jps cable loom...kaptovator mains cable, superconductor 3 xlr and superconductor+ speaker cable....I cant beleive how much better these cables at a third of the price!! Would welcome any upgrade advice as I like to always move closer to the music....

Very nice system. I have owned simalar Levinson pieces and they have all sounded great. You could improve your amp's sound by putting on an amp stand. I used a Sound Anchor stand and a Solid Steel very successfully. Also the Levinson stuff really likes Vibrapods and Vibracones. I used my #39 as my preamp for a while, and it did sound good, but if you ever have an opportunity to pick up a #380s or newer preamps do it. It will take your system to another level.
