Just looking at your system: Congratulations, the new A'pax is fantastic with Horns! Heard it once in Germany. I only got as far as the pre!
My other favourites are Berning, or as of latest, Audio Consulting, with that I have gone off the grid, remarkable change!
What differences do you find between TED and Audiopax?

All power cables have been switched to cardas golden reference. All components are now on vibrapods and a steve blinn amp stand is also added. One major improvement was using the groove tube with 10 rating on the tom evans amp, what a difference! Next will be the oracle analog and SME arm, when the uncle bush's stimulus check come!!! :)

The duos are even more efficient then my uno's which is louder then one can bear. With the manley's you won't need push pull, the SET are much better sounding don't you think? i had the KR 300B before and it sounded very nice, The KR had 12 watts like the manley, i think you will like them.

I think they will Latinsamba - I am using an Audionote Meishu 300B with great results, and the DUOs do have a higher sensitivity than the UNOs I got.

I've been considering a set of Duos to go with my 300b SET monoblocks. I'm currently using Omega single driver speakers, which do midrange quite well and have fabulous tone, but are somewhat lacking in the areas of bass and dynamics. Would the Avants be a good match for the Manley 300b monoblocks? The Manley's are a bit unique in that you can switch from 12wpc in SET to 25wpc in push pull mode.

tom evans was good with the placette pre but the vibe preamp with pulse power supply sounds even more real and i recently change the EI tubes with mullard which sounded detail but bright and then electro harmonic which is wonderful as tom is shipping his amps with these tubes now, but the warmest sound so far comes from groove tube with a breakup rating of 10, the amount of detail and realism is just fantastic.

Nice system - I heard the UNOs with the Oracle CDP at RMAF some years back and the sound was just great.

Tom Evans 0 hhmmm - I am very corious on those as well.

System edited: Tom Evan vibe and pulse coming this week! and cardas golden reference power cables. Got the machina dynamica clever little clock and the effect is surprising! also put in the machina wall plates, can anyone tell me why that works because it does!
