Last year decided to build a dedicated listening room.

The building has a solid concrete floor , walls lined with acoustic plasterboard , ceiling has 2 thicknesses of acoustic plasterboard.

Full dedicated electrics with individual 10mm spurs ending with MK un-switched sockets.

Full treated with GIK acoustic panels.

Once treated small changes in the system were much easier to hear.

The Cardas cable supports made a small but noticeable improvement.

The ChordMusic interconnect is RCA , chosen in preference over XLR.

Tried various power leads but most changed the system away from what I wanted. Only after experimenting did I settle on the modified Rega cable , which was a vast improvement.
