    I hear added clarity/reduction in the noise floor, and a small increase in soundstage width as a result of going from spikes on the outriggers to the Gaia II feet.  However my motivation for the change wasn't just the sonics.  After damage to the floor and a puncture in my right thigh as a result of accidents while moving the 85 lbs each Merlins with the spikes on, my better half insisted that I find an alternative.

    Love the Pathos TT.  I had one approx. 10 years ago driving Silverline Sonata speakers.   Sounds great and a work of art.
