Again, sorry for slow reply ! No, not much room to move further out, I wouldn't be able to open the door to get out of the room !! Ha Ha.
The Bass is great from these 148's, not too overblown, very controlled but lots of it but not at the expense of everything else. I have just placed some Granite Kitchen Tiles underneath them (I have a suspended floor) and this has improved the imaging and sense of space a great deal.
Take care if going for some new ProAc's. I believe they have moved away from Paper Cones which may be ok for some people but I am glad I got some of these 148's before they were discontinued and the new ranges have non-paper cones.

Good to know Jim. Does the bass sound? I am considering the ProAcs (different version) for my next upgrade. I heard the D30RS at the AXPONA and like them. Do you have spave to move the ProAcs at least 3 foot from the wall behind? Might give you a better "sense of space".

Sorry milpai for taking so long to reply, the Pro-Acs work really well with the Valve Amps. They are really easy to drive so even with the 3 Watts I get from the EL33's they fill my room very well.

Looking good. How are the ProAcs doing with the tube amplifiers?
