anyone know a good Supra parts and mods locale?

Very nice system and car. I still have my 87 Supra Turbo with 167K miles. It's sort of in retirement now and it's driven only a couple of times a month. I may have to sell it next year if we get another car. I am guessing that the gasket blew around 80K miles. This is a common problem with Supra. I am pretty lucky in that I have not had to replace the gasket or the turbo charger yet.

My Supra has Soundstream pre/cass and an Alpine CD changer. Speakers are ADS, B&W and Eaton drivers. Amps are Soundstream and a HK 3 way electonic x-over. Cables are Kimber 4TC and Monster Cable M1000.

:^) I dress my wheels to the chains in my '87 Towncar during the winter. I do not have a front-wheel drive substitute but probably will do soon for my wife.

I would suggest to arrange a moonroof for hockey sticks and golf clubs:^) It can be done relatively cheap.

I now decline having a donut and always arrange a complete spare wheel whichever car I buy.

Grandpad,

My clubs stay at my course, but if need be they do fit in the back seat. The other three guys need to make their own way to the course for our tee time. Hockey bags/sticks, there's a challenge!

A really clean, professional job. And the car looks immaculate.

My only problem would be that there's no room for the golf clubs (I don't have a second car).

Marakanetz,

The woofers could shake the trunk, but I have the system dialed in so it's musical rather than boomy. The kids in the Honda Civics value loud, I lean towards musical myself. When I need to put stuff in the car it either goes in the back seat or the passengers seat, or I take my other car. This is my summer car, it's impractical to drive a rear-wheel drive beast in the snow (my 2001 Acura 3.2 Type S does a fine job in the winter; front wheel drive and four snow tires on it). The spare wheel and tools are in the compartment under the amps where they belong, no worries. The entire trunk is esentially a carpeted free floating board that can be removed if you find yourself on the side of the road with a flat tire. As for the transmission, well the car was available and mint so I tolerated the automatic tranny. I did blow the head gasket a few years back and took the opportunity to redo certain elements of the engine, it's 320 hp now.

Do the woofers shake the trunkie?
How about some trip to the BJ's or Costco?
What about a spare wheel jack and lug-wrench?
For the complete feeling of Supra, manual transmission is recommended;^)

An amazing amount of gear for the car. I have a '92 Supra Turbo and don't see how you got it all in! Any pics?

Great car - too bad that stopped making it.
