All a 2 channel system I've built around my old top of the line B & O turntable from the mid 1980s. I had the cassette deck rebuilt because 1) some music I only have on tape, and 2) the high end with the HX-pro is as good as cd with a so-so DAC.
The White Oak kit for the Phase Linear prevents the famous fire acts and adds speaker protection. Clair Bros. was a big sound system company from the 1970s when rock groups used to stack the PL 700s and pack them with dry ice. I've put a cooling fan behind it with a temperature sensor above but it never kicks on. I wouldn't trust it to drive biggies like the Thiel 5is, though.
I won't rule out future changes but I'm pretty happy with my system on a budget as it is.
BTW, there is a surround system and 41" TV in the big cabinet (B&O, Polk, Infinity) but the TV is turned on less than 6 times per year.
