Re.the speakers I agree I could do better but due to buget limitation and the fact that you don´t find much of these hi-end brands here in Iceland they will have to do "for now"

Super system Vignir. What are your interconnects?

Not necessarily super high-end, just better than these middling JBLs. For roughly the same money (or not much more) you could get a nice pair of floorstanders from B&W, Wharfedale, Monitor Audio or PSB (or some used Paradigms, Thiels, Vandersteens or higher-end Klipsch) - any of which would sound much better. The rest of your equipment more than warrants it.

Nice choice of electronics and cabling. I'm not familiar w/ your speakers, but after reading reviews, it seems that the rest of your system could justify a higher end speaker.
