    • Panamax MR-4300
Power conditioner. Or, "fancy power strip", as a certain woman would have it. It supplies all my electrons. The clean ones, anyway.
    • Goldring Eroica HO
    Cartridge with Soundsmith rebuild/upgrades.
    • Music Hall MMF-7
    Turntable
    • Project Audio Tube Box DS
    Phono preamp
    • Sony Playstation 4
This little box feeds my movie, TV and Grand Theft Auto habits. It also plays CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray DVDs. Or so I am told. As it happens, I don't own any of those. I use the Plex app to access my video files over the network, and of course Netflix. If HBO ever comes out with an HBO Now app for this device, I will certainly use it, (no cable TV). Movie sound isn't half bad.
    • Simply Physics Interconnects and Speaker Wire
Wire is solid copper core, wrapped in silver threads, Captan and Teflon dielectrics, interconnects terminated with Neutrik RCA plugs. I use Simply Physics for all my wire. In my religion, we believe in well-made wire, and nothing else. We are the monophysites of the Cable religion, believing that wire has only one nature, (electrical), and rejecting all supernatural claims, (and prices), of the snake-oil-worshipping heretics. Ok, I'm getting a little carried away. I'm just not willing to pay a ton of money for a piece of wire.
    • Counterpoint SA-1000
    Preamp
    • McIntosh MC-352
    Amplifier
    • TimberNation Custom maple rack
Custom maple rack w/ 2" shelves and a 3" turntable platform. The turntable platform, on its brass cones, provides a nice spot underneath to store jackets while playing, and makes it easy to return records to their sleeve.
In every respect, this rack is a brick shithouse, and, of course, does not break a sweat under my 106 lb. amp. It is rumored that Chuck Norris once, in a fit of pique, injured his hand on a Timber Nation shelf. This may, or may not, be true but, nevertheless, is a testament to the solidity of these racks.
    • Ohm Acoustics 4.049
Speakers. These are refurbished 1980's cabinets with a 4 series driver and bass cut switch.
