Dear Audiogoners!!!!
Here is my latest Hi-Fi Stereo system. I upgraded from a monitor set-up (Revel M106) to the Focal Aria 936 which provided huge improvements on the mids and a fuller better controlled bass. Imaging and soundstage improve dramatically as well. Current noises and hums has gone to zero with a dedicated 20 Amp circuit, PS Audio Power Port Classic and the APC S15 Power Conditioner.
I'm using the Oppo BDP-105D as a Pre-Amp/DAC for CD, Digital/HD files and streaming. I was thinking on adding a Parasound Halo P5 Pre-Amp, but not sure if it will improve or degrade the sound. What's your thoughts and opinion about adding a Pre-Amp? I do not planned on adding a turntable in the near future.

I just recently added the Parasound Halo P5 Pre-Amp which gave me better volume control. Also upgraded the interconnects from Cardas Clear Sky into the Cardas Golden Reference XLR 1M which indeed gave a huge improvement in clarity and a more open soundstage.

Audiophile bug bite me again and went in the look for a really big improvement in sound. I then decided to upgrade the Parasound Halo P5 into the Halo JC2 BP. Wow, this change was the most noticeable improvement so far...
Also, I'm in the look for a nice and proper Audio furniture, since the tables I'm using are temporary.
Thanks for looking and any suggestions/improvement/questions are more than welcome....

Manwich620,
Yes, I agree with you totally, I also could not be so happy with the performance of the Focal Aria 936. They are quite unbelievable how good they sound is at their price point in compared to similar contenders. I did auditioned the Aria 948, but decided on the 936 due to its compact size and price. With what electronics you are powering your Aria 948?
