Thank you Scott... the room is small but it´s my own man cave in a cottage in the back of yy house... No one interferes with my music choices or volumes! There´s another side to the room not shown where I keep my vinyls. The bass traps work great and I get very defined and crisp sound all around with very little unwanted reverberance. I´m planning on building a second story to the cottage and should end up w-a 20x40 listening room. Thanks for the feedback and enjoy the music!
Very nice setup. You recently commented on my system so i thought I'd return the favor. I almost went the same rout as you with bi amping but with a pair of mc-452's rather than mc-402's but my dealer gave me such a good deal on my McIntosh mc-501's I couldn't pass it up. I love the McIntosh B & W pairing, its the perfect combo. I was also looking at the Ayon cd-07 as a source player but decided to stay with McIntosh and went with the mcd-500 for synergy. My system came alive once i addded the Audio Research LS-26. The tubes seem to tone down the highs perfectly and brought the vocals to a new level. How have the bass traps helped with your room? Those are some big speakers for such a small room. Love the set up though. Keep the music alive.
Thank you 1D... I haven't been able to get on Audiogon for a while... been remodeling the house! As you can see in the new pictures, I have simplified my system in some ways. I'm only using my turntable and the Ayon CD player. The outlet that was hanging out of the wall is a PS Audio Solo that is now properly mounted inside the wall. That outlet is connected to a dedicated 20 amp circuit... I'll look into the Furman circuit breaker that you mentioned.
