Awesome DIY speaker build! Very interesting driver combination. Was it difficult to figure out crossovers?

Beautiful system and room, Sebrof.  Thanks for sharing, and happy listening.

I like everything about them better than the big black boxes, probably because I don't have to look at the big black boxes anymore ;)

I may be due for a party soon...you'll be sure to get an invite (as well as the two thread-bombers below)

So, you like the bass better than your big black boxes? It has been too long.

Awesome system, not sure about the blue LED's under that chairs though.

I'd also like to hear this system someday.

Nice system, maybe I can come over and hear it sometime?

Thanks Lowrider.
I estimate the sensitivity somewhere between 95 and 99 db based on the sensitivity of the 416s, from the spec sheet "99db SPL with 1 watt input from warble frequency of 100 to 1600 Hz measure on axis 4' from cone"

As far as footers go - I am looking for short footers, maybe 1" because I designed the cabinet so the woofer/tweeter junction is at my ear level in my listening chair. But that's mostly for aesthetics, not so much bass improvement.

sebrof

That's a very nice system and some very fine craftsmanship.

Do you know the sensitivity of the speakers? And would footers add detail to the bass?
