I want to take this to whatever level possible by implementing cost-no-object tweaks and purchasing of over-the-top accessories. Don't be bashful folks. Although the bones of the system are very modest, I intend to go all in to turn this turkey into a rarefied eagle of sonic bliss. Cables, yes! Power conditioning, yes! Exotic room treatments, yes! I want this system to prove the point that it's the icing, not the cake, that matters most.
Update - Added 4 Quasar corner treatments. Results small, but I'd say system now scales 5% better. Getting the best out of this modest beginning will take some more work. Up next will be power cable.
Update 5/24 with some determined metallurgy, a night of 20yr old Scotch and some friends egging me on, I was able to attach a Nordost Odin 20 amp power cord to this little project. The pic above secs to show it off at all. I said prior that room treatments yielded a 5% improvement. Let me tell you, The Nordost makes me reconsider just how far I can take this improbable enterprise. To the moon!
