I started building this room for the Audio/video System about 10-12 years ago as i was building my new home. the room has NO windows,
1 1/2 inch thick sheetrock walls. the room itself is 20feet wide by 40feet long. It's a true man room I also have a 9ft long Professional Pool table. I'm always updatting the System from updatting Speaker/power cables to new speakers and so forth. I'm getting ready to Sell my Martin Logan Request 2's due to that i'm getting away from biwire speaker and as the are used as the side speakers and not the main stage.
You must be very happy with the sound of this system! I used 2 generations of Shunyata cables extensively over a multi-year period and was very happy with them. As of the last year I moved to Audience PowerChord "E" versions as I like their sound profile very much as well and the attributes they bring fit my listening preferences quite well. Happy listening!
Well for the Most part now I have Shunyata power cables, in Which made a Major improvement for the Sound stage.I'm using richard gray 1200's and 400's. for the Wadia i had GNSC do their Ref mod and use Transparent MM1's interconnect. for the Pre-amp i will be sending it as well to GNSC for thier mod. they will replace/redo the power supply, diodes & ECT, i have talked to other ppl about the ref 3 mod that GNSC does and they said it was a GREAT difference for the price. For interconnects i use Transparent Ultra MM1's from my Pre-pro to my Pre and Transparent Ref MM2 from the Pre to the amp and from my Pre-Pro to the Center stage Amp Transparent Ref MM2's as well.
That's a hell of a start...what are you using for cabling, power, etc...? What mods do you have in the Wadia and what will you have done to the pre-amp?
