Description

This is the latest iteration of a modest system for our living room. It is compact, unobtrusive, and fairly natural sounding. I may make improvements - there are many places to do so - but I never want it to look like a garish stereo store, or some weird audio shrine, as do many posted systems. More pictures will follow soon. (Do forgive the poor iPhone pictures; I must get a real camera soon).

Very nice to be involved in all aspects of music, making it, mixing, editing and listening. Keep the pictures coming. I am about 99 miles south of you. The foothills are alive with music!

Thanks; Auburn. Much more will be coming:

My work (Pro mixing and editing) system; Steinway and other instruments; my wife is a professional 'cellist, and we put on house concerts, the first was in December; a baroque trio with period instruments (violin, 'cello, harpsichord); an idler turntable with 12" 'arm, custom horn speakers, etc. But all very woody and tastefully discreet.

I'll upload pictures in the appropriate places, perhaps some things should go under events. Still working this out.

Nice system you have for many hours of good listening. Where in the foothills are you located? I am in Sonora.
