Truly an amazing speaker, I used to own the larger NB-1s but these really suffice for the current room, truly no interest searching for another speaker. Signature might resemble the TADs a bit but to my ears outperforms the TADs and Wilsons I used to own....
Did some quick research, seems like Sony is coming out big on DSD. The Sony Hap-S1 does it all. The Wadia Intuition 01 is another that also does DSD. The Devialet otoh doesnt seem to do DSD.
Plato, tks for the tip! Seems like Bel Canto has a similar solution in the C5i as well. Agree on the tube pre/power but then Im back to square one and I want this to be a simple one box does it all solution. Another solution seems to be the Devialet 110 but Im bot sure the sonics is worth the price disceepancy?
Wyred 4 Sound's Mini-integrated will give you a lot more power, and all the features you have now (digital and analog inputs) with the convenience of remote control... Of course a tube preamp or amp would be lovely but possibly not as simple.
