Great job!

The plinth is made of 30mm pieces of Panzerholz B25 that I sourced from Audiogon member In_shore. Tzh21y, I was hoping that someone would get a laugh. Yes I used the Lyra Skala before the mods. The previous plinth was a custom acrylic Scout plinth made by VPI, which I replaced with a 12 inch square of 6061 aluminunum plate when I decided to try a separated armpod. The Scout went through many tweaks most of which yielded very pleasing results. My recent changes with the seperate armpod and the aluminum and Panzerholz plinths have made a good improvement in resolution and the sound is more lifelike and realistic.

lol That is not a scout!

I am interested in the turntable pic. Were you using the Lyra before and after the mods?

Nice system, although I must say, not much left of the Scout 'table anymore. How did you come by the plinth?

Enjoy, regards,
Dan
