this is my listening room system, just off the master bedroom. No tv, just audio. this is where I also work on my turnables and other equipment. the room is small, about 11 x 11.
I sold the Rock, for which I have regrets. For its price, size and look, it was a great table. I think my Cosmos IV is better overall, with greater weight and warmth, but the Rock 3 had about the best bass articulation I have ever heard. The Cosmos is more powerful, but the Rock, I think, was cleaner. Could be the arm. I am still trying to figure out how to mount a Townshend trough to one of my tables to see how much difference that makes. I think Townshend should sell those for others to use.
Just added a Musical Fidelity Nuvista M3 integrated amplifier. Looks phenomenal, great build quality. Dont know yet on sound, but initial listening is very positive.
I think they are excellent, especially for the price I got them for. I have added an NHT Classic 12 Subwoofer to that system, set up so it barely comes in and only below about 50hz. The Classic 3s are run full range.
how do you like the NHT Classic 3's? I have a pair that my 2 year old poked holes in the tweeter and midrange driver, and have thought about replacing but never got around to it. Now that he is almost 4, he is much less destructive.
