Description

Some older stuff but it sounds ok. Next upgrades would be replacing the amp and preamp with something a notch or two up the scale.

Hey Mritter,
Nice system. I am new to hifi and have the Kestrel II's as well. I am embarrassed to admit that I'm not sure about how to connect a single run of speaker cable to them. There are four binding posts so do I need jumper cables? Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Unfortunately, I can't move the bookshelf at this time due to other furniture in this smallish room. You make a great point though. Thanks.

Very nice system Mritter. Do you have the bookshelf position off-center for some reason? I would position the shelf in the center to help deepen the soundstage and control the image. Other than that, very clean and simple. Happy listening

Close range shot with an 18mm lens. You're exactly right about the photo effect.

However, I might try that toe out sometime!

mritter

toe out??!!! or is the pic exhibiting extreme barrel distortion. Anyways, I love(d) meadowlarks, I'd bet you have some good sounds going on. Congrats on the system.
