Ever since I heard the GM 70's, and met and talked with Kara Chaffee (what an impressive woman) back at '07 RMAF, I've been slathering over having a pair of the GM 70's, but they remain beyond my price range. Congratulatiions on a sweet, well-conceived sytem.

Well finally got that totally dedicated power line to the system, got rid of the power conditioning and must say, don't miss it.....just sitting back and enjoying instead of wondering what to do next....which actually well be a turntable, by the way, almost time to finally cave....thanks for the comment above...

Have to go along with above, in that I would love to hear such system as yours. I have found that the JR4's work well with tubes and SS. They don't have to have loads of power to bring home the music. To bring out the changes of your cable choices, speaks to the revealing nature of your entire system. Yours system looks like alot of fun. Congrats.

I can't help wondering that myself Pehare in regards to the Vr4jr's, I picked up the GM70s (they were dem's) after I had the speakers already. The GM70s are 50 watts though and I did check with Dehav for their opinion as well..I do love the sound currently especially since i picked the XPS2 and some more Kubala cables......I do eye Coincident spekaers rather closely though when I see them for sale, I think if I ever did go away from the VR4jr's I would go in that direction. As noted above, no dealer near me to try that though...thanks for the comments.

Now that is one rig I would like to hear in person. I've heard the Dehav's & they are truly sublime, congrats! If I had the space, funds & WAF they'd be residing here. I can't help wondering if the Vr4jr are optimizing the amplification & a more efficient spkr like Sonist, Coincident or Tonian (all made for tubes) would be any better? anyway your title "living set dreams" reminded me of a classic Waylon Jennings song "dreamin my dreams" (with you). thanks for the inspiration & enjoy the magic, cheers & happy listening!
