Great system ! I'm currently use Duo (old type) with Pathos TT and sounds good but one day my friend suggest me to put isolator feet right under the subwoofer (direct contact the sub'base), the sound became more open and high getting more extend, now I'm really really enjoy them :-) day after day.
I have the Cary 300SEI (early production 11W?) as well and I use it to drive a pair of Linn Sara. Sounds great. Which 300Bs are you using? I have the Cetron (came with the amp), Full Music & KR 300XBL. Am using the KR now.
been away so long on a journey.. but now i am back.. here is the response from above question: Linnie01.. i listen mostly on CD but going crazy collecting LP, Lokie.. my room size is 4*5.5 meter and the screen size is 92 inch diagonal.. the blue celing is painted on purpose from my friend recommendation to eliminate light reflection from the projector in the dark. also i do have a fiber optics star system and LED lighting in the room when it gets dark., Htong... i used to have subwoofer for my HT application but my Cerwin vega 15 inch woofer has already have enough bass so i took the 18 inch subwoofer out from the room.. cheers
Great man cave. Would you please give some dimensions on the room size and screen size? Love the blue ceiling, it looks velvety... is it painted or something else? I have my eye on my unfinished basement and hoping it has similar dimensions as this room.
Voaratec For sits and giggles have you thought about either the First Watt or T type amps like Redwine?I have a pair of German Odeon Tosca's I go for 25% of $6500 list.,Fremmer loved them at show then panned a $10 speaker they sent.I guess knowing lusy dealer base and no advertising it was one of few safe speaker to pan.I dig them but just think that they aren't close to Uno's (an at pricould they be?)If I stay with my EAR 40 watt or go low power thinking of auditioning Silverline or Hyperion but think from contatcs I got while selling B&W,Krell,Mac etc fo 6 years might get friend get me AV's if I want to stay 2 ch.But keeping another small pair of Odeon's or there speakers might get A/V with Usher,Totem or the aforementioned low power needs in combo.But really interested still in Horns and if you read Redwine review at 6moons it might be cheap way to get SET sans bloom.I have hooked my horns up to some nice SS and though now I wouldn't go class A SS newer tech is intriguing.You have really nice rig and Cary is what my friend has used an loved for quite a while.If I get rid of one of my pairs of horns want to get him to replace his wink link my old B&W 805's to hear something near what you do.Good show. Beautiful system! Can you tell me what racks you're using, I'm looking for exactly the same type since I also have a screen behind my gear and need something low.
This is truly a wonderfull system you have. The UNOs are one of my favorite speakers; last time I heard them they sounded amazing with an Audio Note SET stereo amp.
