Hi Robm,

How are the Von Schweikert speakers doing in your room? I was reading another thread where you mention a 13X12 room. I have moved into a house and have a similar room. Do you use any room treatments, etc?

Thanks Glenhifi! I definitely enjoy the escape it brings. The Vons just do so much right and almost nothing wrong. He's my favorite speaker designer.

Nice to get away and escape to the music. Very nice system, I too love the Vons, they are the very musical speakers be it with SS or tubes. I do favor tubes. Enjoy the music.

I can't say enough about the Melos. I absolutely love it for the price. It's a nice preamp to boot.

Oh that's right.

I actually would prefer the Aleph from a pure sound quality standpoint anyway. The F1 is the best for dynamics and controll though.

I got a set of AKG K141 monitor headphones - they are quite nice but I still prefer my Sennheiser HD25-13's...
