An ongoing project, I'm not sure it will ever be finished. But one thing is for sure, it will be a LONG time before I replace the Alana preamp, the superb 845 tubed Quartets (Joe Fratus is an amazing asset to the industry IMHO) and the Accustic Arts digital combo.
I would love to change to a pair of Sonus Faber Cremona's or better, but even used they are out of my budget range for now. Meanwhile, the Usher's are simply amazing for the price.
The Alana is a joint venture between Joe Fratus of Art Audio and David Gill of Gill Audio.

Wright Sound WPP 200C
The two-piece WPP200C Phono Preamplifier has low-noise circuitry and passive equalization as well as a dedicated line amplifier. Our phono preamp comes with a polished copper-plated chassis,(not just for looks), but mainly to keep the ground plane resistance as low as possible. The noise floor of this model excedes the100C model to improve performance. The 200 C is known for it's accuracy and detail, over many models costing much more.
