Description

I started this system back in 1998. The only original piece to remain is the Acurus Act 3. I upgraded the software a few years back and still have not found any other processor that beats it. As you can see, I'm a big Blue Circle fan. My wife doesn't mind all of the equipment, just as long as I keep them contained within the rack.

Wow! I actually got a few reponses within the last year. I kinda forgot about this post, than decided to look at it!
A few changes over the past 4 years: swapped the Pioneer Elite DV59 for a Denon DVD 5910ci, sold the Jolida, added a Wadia i170, fully enclosed the cabinet w/ doors locks and sides(I now have a very curious toddler!). As far as the 803's go, I have always had B&W speakers since the late 80's, so I pretty much always stuck with them. Maybe the Diamond series will be my next upgrade!

Looks very nice. What other speakers did you consider before landing on the 803's?

Nice system, I have always enjoyed the comments and articles for the Blue Circle gear. Have to ditto your comments on the Act 3. I really enjoy mine, mostly used for surround sound, but works nicely for 2 channel. Good your rack is not a single unit.:) happy listening.
