Description

My listening room is in the living room of my apartment so speaker placement is slightly compromised. My setup is in a long wall nearfield arangement and it seems to be working really well so far. Imaging and tonality are really great. The latest addition to my system is the Space Deck which replaced a well loved Music Hall MMF-5. I will also be tweaking my Squeeze Box with a new power supply and external DAC.

There are two ways you can improve the performance of your Spacedeck.

Ditch the stock MDF plinth for a Neuance platform (preferrable) or a maple shelf (less expensive).

Replace the stock foam cell mat with a Boston Audio Mat-1.

These two changes will take your vinyl pleasure up a notch or two.

How would you describe the change between the MMF-5 and the SpaceDeck?
